OT Day
Singapore Occupational Therapists’ Day is celebrated on 11 January every year to recognise the important roles played by occupational therapists in the local healthcare scene.

OT Day 2025: "U are part of the Future of OT!"
OT Day 2025 was an especially meaningful celebration, marking 50 years of OT representation in Singapore. The theme aligned with NOTC’s vision: "Cultivating Our Legacy, Branching Out for the Future," honouring the contributions of OT pioneers while inspiring future generations.

Our theme reflected the milestones paved by the pioneers of OT and encouraged students to envision the future of Occupational Therapy.
Through interactive activity booths, participants explored the history of OT in Singapore, discovered adaptive tools, and created lasting memories.

To further embrace innovation, we hosted "Make Your Imprint in OT!"—a hands-on 3D printing workshop led by Ms. Ming Min and Ms. Nani Adilla from TTSH, alongside Michael from SIT Engineering. The session showcased how 3D printing technology is transforming occupational therapy, offering new possibilities for personalised interventions and assistive devices.

OT Day 2024: "Wellness Is For Everyone"
SAOTSC OT Day 2024: “Wellness Is For Everyone”, echoes SAOT’s core message for OT Day. Students and faculty alike enjoyed a variety of stress-relieving activities across four booths, providing a much needed break from their academic and professional responsibilities.
Adding to the theme, we hosted a Guided Imagery & Music Workshop titled “Music as an Alternative Treatment Modality in Occupational Therapy”. Led by a skilled paediatric occupational and music therapist, participants explored the powerful connection between the mind and music for stress relief. They also had the opportunity to try Mandela Drawing, enhancing their wellness experience firsthand.
